“The cure for anything is salt water — sweat, tears, or the salt sea.” ~ Isak Dinesen (Karen Blixen)

We are always taken by water: its force, beauty and endlessness. It’s maybe one of these things that you take along when you are growing up near it. For some reason it has a seductive, yet dangerous nature.

Water is life and destruction at the same time. It can be soothing and yet unnerving in its continuous sound of waves crashing upon the shore or splashing gravely upon another during a storm.

And it is forever changing and moving. Even in a lake. Waking up and looking upon a lake is every day a different experience, whether due to weather conditions or the seasons. It reflects and captivates, it pulls in and it pushes out.

You can rely on one thing with water: it’s a shapeshifter.
